Query Intelligence? What's that?!?

At it's core, Query Intelligence, or QI for short, is an intuitive yet powerful application that allows users to connect to their application data, in any SQL Server or Azure database, in consistent and powerful ways.

How does it work?

Query Intelligence modellers describe the database using the modelling tools in a way users can understand, and by defining how data security works in the application data, Query Intelligence modellers ensure that users only see the data they're allowed to see. As an application database changes, the model can be updated to reflect the changes withouth needing to build or release any software - the changes are published and made available in real time.

Query Intelligence users, when they sign in, are presented with a powerful query building interface, allowing dynamic queries to be created, empowering users to get just the data they need when they need it - without having to raise formal requests for reports and exports to be developed. The query data can be sorted, filtered, pivoted, saved and scheduled to facilitate analysis and the search for insight in the data.

Fundamentally, Query Intelligence bridges the gap between pre-canned static reports and raw data access.

How do I get access?

If you're a user of one of the enabled applications listed on the homepage, you can click on the application name and sign in using the credentials you normally use to sign in to that application directly! You're then good to go!

Query Intelligence is developed by the SynergyTrak Development Team, a part of STERIS. This privacy policy applies to Query Intelligence only and explains how our organisation uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our application.

What data do we collect?

Personal information: Full Name, Email Address. Application performance information: All queries ran, when they were ran and query performance statistics (e.g. time to run your query). Application management information, such as log files to help support and troubleshooting.

How do we collect your data?

Each time you sign in, we obtain your personal information from the application you're signing in to. Application performance and management information is captured automatically as you use Query Intelligence.

How will we use your data?

We use your personal information to identify you, as a user of Query Intelligence, and so other users can identify you too, for example when sharing a query with you. Your email address is also used to send you application notifications, such as when another user shares a query with you. All other data is used internally to monitor the performance and health of the application.

How do we store your data?

Query Intelligence stores your personal data securely in the Cloud within a Microsoft Azure database. Log files are stored within the STERIS internal network. Query Intelligence stores your personal data until your access is deleted by an administrator.

Marketing

Your personal data will not be shared with 3rd parties. We may use your personal data to make contact with you to discuss your experiences and gather feedback only.

What are your data protection rights?

STERIS would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every Query Intelligence user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access – You have the right to request STERIS for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
• The right to rectification – You have the right to request that STERIS correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request STERIS to complete any information you believe is incomplete.
• The right to erasure – You have the right to request that STERIS erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that STERIS restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to STERIS processing your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to data portability – You have the right to request that STERIS transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
